You can buy big pump-bottles of more-or-less pure hyaluronic acid on amazon. I use this one, which has a wee bit of alcohol in it, but otherwise nothing but water. The $21, 4 oz. bottle will last you forever.

Other commenters are right that you need another moisturizer on top. Humectants, like HA, which are usually clear or watery, bring moisture into the skin; emollients, like most oils and butters and jojoba oil (which isn’t technically an oil), protect the skin’s natural barrier, and are often creamy in consistency; and occlusives, which are heavy-duty ingredients like beeswax, silicone, olive or mineral oil, lanolin, or petrolatum (i.e. Aquaphor or Vaseline), create an additional barrier to lock all that moisture from the other products into your face, and are often, well, thick and Vaseline- or balm-like.

So my guess is that some kind of emollient morning (after HA or similar, before sunscreen) and evening (before Aquaphor) would help.
