If it is one I will know will last me years then I could probably justify spending more. Guess I’m just looking at cheap because of the chattering that this one has started experience. It’s left me weary. Any recommendations.

What about one of these?

I’ve got one of these I’d sell for $100 + shipping: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IYJD5CY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Used lightly for a few months. Won’t be able to ship it for at least a week (until my new keyboard arrives).

Ugh. I would have thought they would just ship them later, like the RGBs. I’ve been a hard time finding a well priced CM Storm Rapid. They used to go for around $60, but the best I could find (thanks to a reddit) was $100. Some sites say discontinued in favor of the Rapid-I. I wonder if the regular k70s are slowly being phased out to the RGBs.

Anyway, I was looking at the K70 non-RGB browns too. The brown switch version is on Amazon for $25. If you live in a non-tax state and take the free shipping, that’s about the same deal.

Heya, all! I was hoping to get some recommendations/direction on buying a mechanical keyboard.

Preferences:

  • $101-$150
  • Fullsize
  • Brown Switches
  • Backlighting (preferably with the option of a red color)
  • Some function keys (sleep, wake up–functions of that caliber, though I wouldn’t be adverse to others)
  • A black finish of some caliber

If the information helps, I’m going for something to be used for both typing and gaming.

I was recommended the Corsair Vengeance K70. Could I get some second opinions on it?

In any case, thanks!

If youre looking with browns, Heres a fully backlit corsair board with browns

Has all the macro functions of the das, Includes backlighting, Has a much nicer aluminum housing and a built in wrist rest… $124

I was looking to get a Corsair K70 Cherry MX Brown, but apparently there’s a newer edition for like $10 cheaper. What’s the difference?
* K70
* K70 2016 edition

So I just found this and this, priced at $120 and $125 respectively. Any reason why I wouldn’t buy one of these?

EDIT: Nvm, these aren’t RGB
