I got a Corsair RGB Strafe at best buy, best buy I have ever made (heh.) except for the price. Amazon is cheaper. If you find any keyboard you like on amazon, I’ve got prime so I can get free two-day shipping, so I can order it and ship it to your address or just drop it off to you somewhere if you like. Or you could order it yourself obviously.

Here’s the Corsair RGB Strafe with the Cherry Silent keys: https://www.amazon.ca/Corsair-Mechanical-Ultra-Quiet-Multicolor-CH-9000121-NA/dp/B0164SF9TS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520640204&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+RGB+strafe

Or you could order something completely different, the options are way better on Amazon.

Yeah, sure, just get a Corsair if you find one with silent switches and RGB, for like 70$ or so, they aren’t terrible, they usually just cost way more than they are worth.

This for 80$ for example is alright.

Corsair makes a version of the Strafe with MX Silent Reds.

I’m not sure what other pre-assembled boards come with silent switches, but if you like your current strafe that upgrade is always an option.

Imho, O-rings feel like crap compared to silent switches, but they’re cheap. They’re just little rubber bands that you put on the stem of your keycaps to add cushioning to the bottom out.

There’s also an option of dampening clips. I’ve never used them so I can’t give my opinion but there’s currently a buy on massdrop going for them I think.

currently using a Corsair Strafe RGB with MX silents, and i like the silent keys but i just hate how big it is with the number pad, and i used to use the E-Yooso 81 key keyboard and i liked the size and the white but i hated how little you could do with the rgb and i honestly hated the Brown switches it came with, plus it broke after a year and i have no way of contacting about the warranty.

Does anyone have any budget ideas for a keyboard or a build i could do? i plan on selling my strafe for money towards this but id say my max max budget is like 80.

(note: my setup is going towards white, purple, and red)

I took a look at your link and I think Best Buy is overpriced, so I got curious and shopped around.

Amazon link (new), $135

Amazon link (refurbished), $90

Newegg link (refurbished), $102.

I think you can charge somewhere around the two refurbished prices ($90 to $105), or lower since you are not as reputable as Amazon or Newegg (no offense, it’s just that those two websites have better customer support/refund/return policies).

They are like normal Cherry MX Blacks, but with some dampening pads inside to make them quieter.

I’ve seen some boards lately that come with Cherry MX silent Red switches, like this one. I dug around on Cherry’s website and found these: silenced MX Blacks, but I can’t figure out how to buy them…

Cherry has new switches out that are SUPER nice. This is the only keyboard in Amazon at your price range that has Cherry MX Silent Reds. That’s what I would go with…
