If you like the look of the chroma for the rgb lighting there are other keyboards that are rgb and have the blacks or reds already installed in them.
Even though this looks a little gamer-y it is a pretty good price and still has rgb and mx silents.
As far as how quiet they are I don’t own any so I couldn’t really be a good person to ask about that but you could always look up comparisons on youtube. Any review I’ve seen though says that they feel much better than putting o-rings on.

I’m building a keyboard and really want Cherry MX Silent RGB Red/Pink switches. It doesn’t look like anyone has them in stock, so is my best bet to buy the cheapest keyboard I can find with those switches and just desolder them out? Will that work, or would the pins have been shaved down and unusable or something?

And I don’t suppose it’d be possible at all to get some Cherry MX Silent RGB Blacks without organizing a group buy for 8000 from the manufacturer?

Corsair STRAFE RGB Silent Cherry MX

I personally love this switch the most, I tried Cherry Reds, Blue, Blacks, Razers switches, and Logitech, because I love the feel of mechanical switches but most of the time I don’t really like the clacks such as blues.

Corsair’s are best for your stated price range. Coolermaster’s Quickfire line might also do you well. Here is a good listing on amazon. Link

I have a corsair strafe RGB,

Specifically this one,

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07658C2VQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Still running strong after a year, even though its refurbished.

I have a Yeti mic was well and use SLOBS noise gates, able to eliminate my tv(gf watching) clickity clackity keyboard, and my fish tank filter on the other side of the room.

Great keyboard
