Honestly I don’t think I’ll get more replies now but I have some ammunition to figure things out.
This one looks interesting:

Only concern is how loud it is, I will do some research to find out if it’s a fit for me.

>Nah, you won’t find the Cherry MX version anywhere else but on their site.
Not only is this absolutely not true, it’s also $10 cheaper on amazon and prime shipping.
Cherry mx red and speed are ok linears but nothing special.

if you want a well rounded “gaming keyboard”, this is a good one

if you want something more moddable, custom, and less focused on gamer aesthetics, theres this

it is nonstandard, corsairs newer tkl’s have a standard bottom row so if you wanted to stick with the dedicated media keys on the top. you can use those keycaps with the k70 tkl

Not the best deal, but IMO the best keyboards available for the money if you like Cherry switches. TKL has 8000hz polling rate.
I bought the TKL to replace my previous gen K70 rgb with MX Speed. I love the MX Speed, took some getting used to at first with low actuation force and no feedback but its very fast and accurate for work and gaming.
Downside is Im replacing my K70 bc numerous keys developed key chatter, had it for 6 years though so Im not mad.
