The workout plan is a little old but “Core Performance”, sold as a soft cover book on Amazon, was amazing for me. It’s a holistic training program really designed to strengthen and increase range of motion. Yoga like stretches and interesting weight training are two of the key focuses.

It was ahead of its time in my opinion. The program has a 24 week program from what I remember and really breaks down what the plan is down to day by day activities. Even includes preset meal guides. It’s not a dogmatic program either. I felt that the program ramped up nicely and didn’t push me into any exercise that was dangerous or felt ridiculous.

The downsides to the program are the time commitment. Workouts can last ninety minutes including warm-ups and cool downs. The space requirements and equipment list is really catered to a well equipped global gym at a minimum. Also, a number of the exercises are stuff you’ll never see anyone else doing.

However, if you can see beyond the cons the workout program is seriously impactful.
