It is not annoying. I bought a cheap amazon treadmill And converted it by removing the handles. The treadmill can be in a vertical position when stored.
No. The walking part is for watching stuff on the PC, browsing reddit and maybe playing slow paced games. For work i would recommend a simple standing desk

sure. Just buy a rising desk + a cheap treadmill. You will be able to sit, stand and walk
Love it. However because the treadmill is cheap you will need to buy one each year.
