I had a customer who was an engineering firm. They where tasked by one of their customers to design the next best Coffee maker. What they found.. whenever they went to coffee trade shows was that every coffee producer would sample their coffee using Pour over makers. Good control of your waters temp plus a brewer where you can make sure to get all your grounds will give you a cup like you’ve dreamed about.

Not really sure if this is what you want (I’m pretty new to pour over), but this is the one I have and it just has a single metal cone filter that’s reusable. It’s really easy to clean too. It does have a carafe too but it’s only $20 with the coupon on Amazon.

Thanks everyone for your comments!
The issue was definitely the metal filter… I tried out some paper filters and it worked exactly the way people said it should. It takes about 2-3 minutes to brew the whole cup.
The only thing is the coffee gator was designed for the metal filter and not necessarily the paper filters and one time, the paper filter fell into the water. I bought the size 2, but maybe I should the size 4. Hoping I don’t need a whole new pour over and can make it work with paper filters, but any tips for someone new to paper? See below for link to the coffee gator.
