What is the opinion of Reddit about the

That adapter like most others is only mono input. You will need a USB interface with stereo inputs. This one should work, I use it myself but it also depends on the app. I don’t think the Google recorder app supports stereo microphones for instance. Use the USB C to USB A adapter that came with the phone.
