With your weight, build quality becomes essential, especially as it’s the upper tolerance threshold for many sub $300 chairs. unfortunately that means you need to look price ranges that comes with more solid construction.
This is a good value chair I usually recommend but as you see, your literally at the max weight.

Honestly your best bet is likely to look at a reliable refurbished like Cranston or BTOD for something like a a used steelcase leap v2 or similar.

Hopefully someone of a similar weight class can chime in with better options relevant to your needs.

Good luck

Here’s a lesser known option. The Clatina Mellet Overall it does a good 90% knock off impression of the steelcase leap v2 I sit in at work, but only being 3D arms, it does lack the forward-backward sliding adjustment of the arm rest pad.
With seat and arms at lowest settings, arm rests height is just under 24”. Use the ergonomic tool below to determine your exact needs. If you need to lower the keyboard, a height adjustable keyboard tray maybe something to consider. VIVO brand on Amazon makes good ergonomic workstation accessories. For 5’4”, your keyboard needs to be 25” high and your chair seat 16-17” high (see tool link below). If you need to raise the desk, look up some bed risers in Amazon.

At full tension and tilt lock, the back still has about a 3 degree backward lean from the 90 degrees vertical. Also the “butt gap” between seat pan and back is a little bigger. Lumbar support is similar but just slightly more flexible which I don’t see as necessarily bad. Still for half the price of a used refurbished steelcase leap from BTOD, I have no complaints. It has a 5 year warranty and 90 day free return. Obviously at this price point longevity may not be as good as a steelcase or other big mainstream brand.

Cheap Mod I made to make the arm rests wider so they come in closer to torso like a steelcase. You could also use The same technique to make them longer front to back – I sacrificed that in order to fit some nice memory foam pads on top (see Amazon link in to post below), but you could just Velcro some spare 4mm EVA foam on top top to provide more padding.
