You need KVM or KVMP switch. One of the things to look for is one with EDID support. Without EDID support, when you switch between computers the computer will see the monitor as disconnected and it might screw up the positioning and layout of your windows. Displayport (in any format) does not support EDID. I have seen a USB C KVMP switch that claims to support EDID, but the reviews were not positive. The KVM switch I ended up going with was this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VNCQV1V. For me I needed one that can do 4K @ 60Hz, EDID (which pretty much means HDMI) and had a wired remote for changing inputs. I will say the Keyboard support on that KVM is a bit lacking, as it’s only a USB 2.0 port it can not power my mechanical keyboard (Das 4 professional). To get around that issue, I have a powered USB 3.0 hub that I connected to one of the peripheral ports on the KVM.
