A KVM allows you to connect multiple computers to the same set of Keyboard, Video & Mouse devices. You’ll want to get one that is 2×2 or bigger.
A Maxtrix is a KVM minux the keyboard & mouse inputs.

To connect the computers to the KVM/Matrix
- Cheap way — get a USB C to HDMI cord & an HDMI to HDMI for each computer
- Get 2 USBC docks that have 2 HDMI ports on them — one for each computer — plus 4 HDMI to HDMI wires
To connect the KVM/Matrix to the monitors
- Get 2 HDMI to HDMI cords

There were differently some setup hiccups with it, but we weren’t sure how much of that was due to the Windows software level and how much was due to one of his host PCs having a lot of background security/monitoring software on it related to his work.
Either way, it worked enough that he’s happy, and we were able to get 2x 4k60 monitors running of it as well.
