hi! so originally we were using one i got at cvs with a 1 mL dropper, but it smelled and probably tasted horrible, and made baby spit up a few times after giving it. so i got one on amazon that is just one little drop, so i hover it over baby’s mouth on the changing table and when it is about to drop i just tickle his cheek and he opens his mouth. it is such a small amount it must be a concentrated dose, but it works great and is so easy. here’s the link.

My doctor has breastfed babies start taking vitamin D drops at a month old. I would definitely ask your pediatrician about it! She recommended a non-prescription one we could buy from Amazon. Vitamin D Drops

As far as I was aware the only real deficiencies in breast milk is vitamin D (as humans used to get that from the sun), and the amount of iron is a little too low for older babies. I used Carlson vitamin D which is just 1 drop for a full dose. You can put the drop right on the nipple which makes it very easy to give to breastfeeding babies. Ask your pediatrician if/when you should start iron supplements.

You can just do the drops under your tongue! Quick, tasteless, easy and cheap.
