What is the opinion of Reddit about the
Calico Designs Nook Modern Desk with Multi Soft-Close Storage Compartments, Black Graphite/Ashwood?

I posted this about two weeks ago, but have been unsuccessful so far in finding something like the top of this desk. I’ve searched on google for a bit and the closest I can find is this or this.

Ideally, I would like to be open similar to the image and not require drawers or any lifting of the top portion. Any help is greatly appreciated!
