It is a lot cheaper. I’m a big Apple fan but I’ll die having never overpaid Apple for storage. They charge way, way too much and it’s ridiculous. iCloud storage is really cheap, though, and works like a charm; it’s magical! You can also get a 512GB SSD off of Amazon from here:
