- Pre soak some whole wheat pasta and put it in the fridge over night. When you’re ready to eat it set it out so that it’s room temperature.
Get a jar of spaghetti auce and frozen veggies, heat them up, then add the pasta and heat more if needed.
This works with rice and oats as well. All you have to do it get it to a “soft” state and then you can heat it up. Don’t do this when you’re hungry. Experiment first to get the consistency that you want.
“Obtain” some brown paper lunch bags and popcorn in bulk. Add 1/4 cup of pop corn to the bag and fold over. Microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes. Popcorn! 😀
How about Top Ramen or cup of noodles? Either splurge on an electric water kettle or microwave the water until it hot and add it to the noodles. With the ramen all you have to do is let it soak extra long.
