I use a $40 Philips electric shaver and this more expensive shaver:

Hey guys, I just tried to return a Braun series 9 razor.

I paid around 250$ for it on sale. When I clicked the return button, it said it was not returnable. Anyways, I went into the Amazon help chat and asked for a refund. The is the transcript:

Initial Question: I’m trying to return an item but the return button says I cant.

Now they are only refunding 210$, but they are letting me keep the item so I guess that doesn’t really matter. My question to you guys: Has this ever happened to you? Is this legit? Please tell me what you think.

I ditched the blades for the Braun 9290cc and I’ve never looked back. Shaving now is so much faster, easier, and more gentle than I could have ever imagined. Battery lasts for a week so really great for travel as well since you can just bring the shaver and nothing else. For a long trip, I’d bring the charging cable (not the dock) just in case.

Here’s the one I have, comes with a travel case and charge/cleaning station. I think they sell a cheaper one without the charger/cleaner:
