Anyone know if battery operated shavers are allowed at BCT ? I can’t shave with a manual razor for shit and would prefer to not fuck over my platoon with my stubble
This is the one I was thinking about getting

Hair clippers won’t give you a close shave. Ask your parents for a decent electric like the Braun M90. It’s cheap, simple to use and will easily take off the fuzz you’re accumulating on your face. The world of wet-shaving will still be here once the growth starts coming in thick and heavy in a few years time.

I picked one of these almost 5 years ago @ a drug store and damn thing won’t die (I have the older model, this one looks better). It’s a foil-style saver that’s waterproof and takes 2 AAA batteries. It’s best if you shave every day since it’s awful for longer facial hair. That said, it’s relatively compact, really durable, doesn’t require oil/cream and gets the job done well enough while traveling. I have not had to do anything but replace the batteries and rinse it out every now and then since 2012.

Does anyone have experience with a compact electric foil shaver a la Braun M90? I generally shave with soap/brush/DE but there are some mornings where I either don’t have time or simply don’t feel like having a full shave. Having something that’s quick and easy for touch ups on those days would be great.

Braun MobileShave M-90 gets a lot of love on this group. Outperforms my $150 Panasonic.

I would advise letting it go, but if you must use something this is the one I’ve used for years. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TQ4AO0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
