I could never get earbuds to stay in my ear, even when walking. I’ve switched to IEMs and they’re perfect for running and lifting. Here’s the one I use currently use http://www.amazon.com/Brainwavz-M1-In-Ear-Headphones-BLACK/dp/B004IK2EAW good sound quality and not too expensive

BEST thing I have bought in the past few years, no joke! I am a gamer that uses Sennheiser PC350s (£110) for noise cancelling at lans, they dont even touch these for noise cancelling. The sound quality is also superb. I came across an extensive audiophile type review site that rated these the best value earphones under £100.
The only negative is i cannot wear even one earphone in when having casual conversations as its a struggle to hear (on the bus etc.)
