If you’re interested in perserving audio quality, finding a decent pair of headphones with a built in mic can be difficult. The mod mic or lapel mic is probably a better and more cost effective option.
As for actual headphones, if you’re interested in something you can take on the go then the Bowers & Wilkins P5s are excellent. They’re meant to be a portable headphone and their noise isolation is superb. Despite this I wouldn’t really recommend them for only at home use as there are better options in this price range. They’ll cost you about $350
Also, the Audio-Techinca ATMH50 is a well reviewed and respected pair of headphones for a more reasonable price. I’ve never owned or used these so I can’t personally speak to their quality, but word of mouth indicates that they’re good.
I would also check out head-fi for a more comprehensive and useful database.
