I’ve had quite a few rabbits over the years, and some of them do this and some of them don’t, like a personality trait. The ones that insist on pooping every just always do, unfortunately. Something that has helped me is having a secondary litter box in the living room, for easier access. But this does not stop the scatter pooping entirely.

My best recommendation is to invest in a handheld vac and just quick clean up the poops as needed. If they are healthy dry poops, vacuuming them up is super easy. I use one like this, but it’s cheaper at Walmart. Try to be grateful it’s not pee! This could definitely be worse lol

  1. Handheld vacuum

  2. I really enjoyed my play kitchen as a kid. I’m not sure what the budget is but there are all kinds and prices of toy kitchens on Amazon. You could have her make you some imaginary food, host a tea party, etc. I think this also transfers really well if you want to have her be involved with cooking too. Me and my brother used to fight all the time over who got to use the kitchen lol. My favorite toy that went with that was something like the Melissa and Doug play pizza set which allows you to put whatever toppings you want. It was really creative and fun😍

This has helped me immensely with floor cleanup!

I no longer sit next to her for most meals. Her high chair is in the corner of the kitchen and I give her pieces of food while I meal prep, clean, listen to podcasts, and occasionally Reddit. Now, I know my husband would struggle multitasking like this, so maybe its not for everyone. But I’ve found it to be better for me to be bopping around the kitchen. She seems to eat better and I have more patience.

I like having a mini vacuum that is cordless, and has different attachments. It’s small so fits in room nicely and it’s easy to pull out randomly for little jobs. Filter is washable A bit pricey but it’s totally worth it. There is also an attachment with a “brush” that is really nice for cleaning up hair off of furniture and rugs VS using a lint roller.See here: https://www.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-HHVI315JO42-Dustbuster-Cordless/dp/B01DAI5BZ2/ref=zg_bs_510114_15?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=GDW8AH0AR8NR8504YFRH

I buy hay and litter material in bulk, and keep the big containers in another room. I have smaller tubs in the bunny room for daily use: hay, litter material, pellets, and a trash container. They all have swing-top lids so they are always closed. Makes cleaning litter boxes super easy and faster.

My bun has 2 high-top litter boxes that I clean daily, which I find helps with smells VS cleaning them every few days. Also, certain types of litter hold smells more than others. [See video below]

White vinegar is amazing. Used for cleaning up accidents, deodorizing the room, and add it to the washer when washing bunny laundry to remove smell. You can also use baking soda in a dish for deodorizing room, but PLEASE make sure the bunny has no chance of getting to it.
