Maybe it doesn’t work for everyone but I like the smoothness and can’t sleep on textured sheets. I have one pair of sheets (can’t remember the name of the material) that are thick and everyone raves about for it’s warmth. I tried it once and spent hours not being able to fall asleep because of the texture. I just wash my bamboo sheets like regular sheets so it’s no different than cotton sheets, except cotton does not feel like silk.
