Not sure the rules on Differin, but if you are looking for other things to try, I’ve been really impressed with the BalanceMe congested skin serum. It was a Birchbox sample, but I ordered a full size on Amazon (sold by the company!). I’ve had trouble with chin and mouth area acne when stopping birth control before, so I was worried about what would happen when I stopped HBC a few months ago. I use a niacinamide cream (I use la roche-posay) in the morning and this serum at night in my hormonal acne trouble areas and have only had a few minor breakouts.
