Azio overprices their keyboards. I have had the (MGK1-K) in the past with Kailth brown switches. I ordered it in 2015. They used very cheap keycaps on theirs my W key fading within a year. This looks like a rehashed design on their older keyboards. It was origionally $89 on sale for $69

I like the minimalist look of the DAS for sure, it’s a contender.

I found this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010M53SLU/?tag=xahh-20&th=1

  • The RGB version is super expensive, but the white version is totally in the price range. Being as I’d probably just turn it to orange or something, I guess I could live with white.

On the DAS, I could live with the unmarked keys, it means people probably wouldn’t be able to use my computer which is a bonus.. “can I use your computer to type my paper” “Sure…haha”

Hopefully the F and J are textured though. I guess I could replace keycaps in select places easily enough, correct?

This one has white backlight but I think it’ll do the job just fine. LTT did a video on it a while back so you might as well check that video out as well.

That is the 3rd time the QuickFire XT has been mentioned in this thread. I wish it had a wrist rest but those can be purchased separate of course.

I’ve also found this one which (while backlit, it’s only white which should be just fine) seems to meet all my criteria aside from using Kailh Brown switches instead of Cherry MX. From what I’ve read the switches are a little cheaper, but otherwise almost identical.

I just got a Azio MGK1 that I like well enough, but isn’t a great fit for me. Im also in FL, if it makes a difference, its Kailh Brown switches, so still has the bump but not officially CherryMX

The Gigabye looks a lot like my Azio: https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-MGK1-K/dp/B010M53SLU/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1531896858&sr=1-3&keywords=Azio+Backlit+Mechanical+Gaming+Keyboard

I like the wrist guard thing for the bottom. I tried using it without, but just became accustomed to resting my palms on it. I also have this wrist bean bag for my left hand….it’s also fun to play with while queueing or watching videos.

Not the most amazing switches (Kailh Brown), but the Azio MGK keyboards were my first real entry into MKs and they had dedicated volume roller and white LED backlight. Decently cheap – https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-MGK1/dp/B010M53SLU?th=1 $50. If you’re interested and in CONUS I’d be happy to sell you one (I have an extra at the office) and throw in some extra keycaps and whatnot.

Ajazz AK60 is a DAS knockoff that’s pretty damned good with RGB and Volume wheel. $90 Brown Switches https://www.amazon.com/Firstblood-Carving-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches/dp/B0749Q7VKM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1514494991&sr=1-1&keywords=ajazz+AK60

Had someone online offer my a barely used Azio (Kailh Brown) mechanical keyboard to get a hold of. They never use it. They’re letting me offer a price, how much should I ask for it?

This one looks good to me
Razer Deathadder for mice is nice
Logitech G300s or 402 will do just fine
