> I’m thinking of getting a gaming laptop to play videogames during my shift.
Great idea! I work overseas and will spend hours alone every day (I sometimes don’t see another person for 2 days). Without my laptop it would be impossible to do and keep my sanity. I have a 2TB SSD that I take wherever I go, full of all types of media (full TV series, documentaries, lots of wildlife stuff, hundreds of films, hundreds of albums, hundreds of books) and I game on it as well.
These headphones are extremely comfy without any noise bleed.

Well I have x2 of these https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Wireless-Headphones-Bluetooth-Transmitter/dp/B07CJ2BVSP/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=avantree+bluetooth+transmitter+4189&qid=1609525338&sr=8-3

You can supposedly hook up the 2nd pair of headphones to one transmitter on B channel, but it continuously loses connection. I think I read in the reviews it was a problem. So I’m trying to use the 2nd transmitter now that it came with which pairs flawlessly, but trying to connect both transmitters now to the receiver.

Google can’t answer your questions accurately, but to soundproof your room enough to dampen television noise is going to be expensive.
Yoru best bet is to get a pair of relatively cheap (from around $20 to over $100) wireless headphones for your television. I got a pair and they work great.
