Budget – $150 hard limit. Prefer something more around $100-$125.

Preferred Type of Headphone – Full sized
Preferred tonal balance – Overall balanced. I was considering the ATH M50X.
Past headphones – Used some Skullcandy headphones. They weren’t so great with build quality. Sound also seemed okay. I have a cheap pair of Audio Technica SonicFuel headphones which I use on the go. Preferred Music – What do you listen to? – A lot of Rock and Metal. This included GnR, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Scorpions, some Green Day, Dire Straits, Jethro Tull, The Who, Pink Floyd. Occasionally some Eminem.
What would you like to improve on from your set-up – What are you looking for going into your next headphone? More bass? More detail? More treble? – Just great sound quality and portability.
