Thanks dude! Do you think the 8323’s would be good for the genres above?
From listening to the sound tests I thought the TH-02s sounded more “crisp”.
I also found Audio-Technica ATH-T200 do you know if these are any good?

It seems like there are a lot of questions today but I’ll give it a shot.
Budget – Up to $50 based on Amazon prices.
Source – Most likely my CMOY or the output of a Creative Audigy SE. :\
Requirements for Isolation – Closed. Even though I’d love to try some opens, I’m in a noisy living room next to the TV.
Will you be using these Headphones in Public? No
Preferred Type of Headphone – Over ear, full sized.
Preferred tonal balance – Balanced or slightly warm.
Past headphones – JVC HARX300 were the ones I had when younger, that’s all I could afford and what I had available. They were ok, I mean I’m not a pro, but they made my ears hurt almost every day. Besides that I have ssome Sony MDR-ZX600 for the street.
Preferred Music – So many different things… But I don’t want to choose my headphones Die Antwoord. I’d say that I want them to play The Clash, The Smiths, Talking Heads or Supertramp maybe.
What would you like to improve on from your set-up : I just need some over ear headphones that are VERY comfy and easy listening, not tiring deep bass or crispy treble.
I have some candidates:
Audio Technica ATH-T200 ($29): https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-T200-Closed-Back-Dynamic-Headphones/dp/B0093GXOCI/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8
Audio Technica ATH-M20x ($47): https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M20x-Professional-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR18/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
I’d consider the Monoprice but I rather buy from Amazon, 2 day shipping and easy returns.

If you have 45$ to spend, you can take a look at these (again the links are to Amazon but Newegg probably has them as well)
Audio-Technica ATH-T200 Closed-Back Dynamic Monitor Headphones with 40mm Driver – Black

And use something like this as a microphone
Zalman Zm-Mic1 High Sensitivity Headphone

2 female to male Splitter: https://www.amazon.com/HTTX-Splitter-Headphones-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B01HAVSPOY/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1489100576&sr=8-9&keywords=mic+headphone+2+female+splitter
4.95
so about 40 dollars.
All you need to do is connect the two things to the splitter and into the controller and viola. I currently use a similar set up.

I’m not sure about the Monoprice’s build quality, I need something that will last. I like the removable cable, but I think I rather have a better overall headphone.
