I completely forgot about Status audio. Thank you for that post. I should look into that as well. Are the M50x’s any better? I saw they were on sale for just $110 yesterday but I may try to get them bundled with a Fiio amp or something.

You need new headphones first. But I would do this. ATH-M50X. Amazing headphones, and that little amp gets loud as hell. I just got this combo a few weeks ago and don’t know how I lived without them.

M50x with Fiio E11k for $150 on amazon
Is this a good deal? I was looking for warm, open headphones for around this price and stumbled across this deal. Are the HD 598s for this same price (with no amp) a better choice?

Are either of these a good deal? The amp on one seems better but the other one comes with a hard case which sounds nice.
