For portable listening: Should I get the Audio-Technica ATH-AX1iSBL SonicFuel or spend ~$20 more for the ATH-M20x?

I want something that I can take with me, can be powered by my phone, and won’t break on me when its sitting in my bag going from class to class. If $20 makes a significant difference quality wise I will definitely go for it!

Budget – less than $45 or so (2,500 INR)
Source – PC, OnePlus One
Requirements for isolation – Does not matter
Will you be using these headphones in public – I might, but I don’t plan on using them in public.
Preferred type of headphone – Over ear/Full sized
Preferred tonal balance – I like my bass, but I’m not looking for much as these are budget headphones.
Past headphones – Phillips SHQ1200, some cheap white Sonys, Sennheiser HD201.
Preferred music – I have a varied taste, but mostly pop. I really like Stromae.
What would you like to improve on from your set up – I was really happy with the HD201s as they did their job well, but the cable length was unmanageable. The Sony headphones are on ear and not full size which is not what I prefer. I am really happy with the Phillips SHQ1200, but they are mainly for outdoor use and my headphones will be used indoors.
Location – Mumbai, India. I will be buying from Amazon or Flipkart.
I created a thread as I was not aware about this post:
I’m looking headphones which are priced below INR 2.5k, or roughly below $40-50. Audio Technica ATH-AX1iS fit perfectly in my price range, but I’m not sure if I should go for them. The Sony MDR-ZX310AP are also in my budget, but I’ve heard better things about Audio Technica. Another option would be the Sennheiser HD202.
I’m also wondering if I should get gaming headphones instead of regular headphones as I might need the mic in the future. The Sades SA708 and Xpower are the only two ones in my budget.
I’m leaning towards the Sennheisers because everyone I know has had a good experience with Sennheiser and their after sales service, but I’m still very confused. I would appreciate it if someone could help me. Thank you!
