I removed the clear plastic led diffuser on the bottom of the speakers.

If you have a better recommendation i’m all ears though.

I found a set of cheap aux-jack speakers on Amazon for $20 that are leagues better than any in-monitor speakers I’ve ever heard

There’s so many cheap solutions with surprisingly good sound quality these days that’s those crappy little built-in speakers aren’t really worth using
