Any sunscreen recommendations that will hold up for a day without making my eyes tear up? I live in a super hot/humid area, and even when I’m not sweating, the sunscreen I use will inevitably ‘drip’ or make its way into my eyes. I’ve been using this sunscreen, but it isn’t enough to stop me from burning and is also causing my eyes to burn. It doesn’t irritate my skin, however, which other sun screens have.

Reviews on other facial sunscreens are mixed (irritating skin or failing to protect from the sun). The ones that say they’re “water resistant” often say “for 80 minutes”. 80 minutes is less than my workout and is also a lot less time than even a visit with a friend–I don’t want to just start crying, nor burning, 80 minutes in. I want to put sunscreen on in the morning, and have it last through the day or at least a single workout. Any suggestions? Right now I’m considering just no longer putting sunscreen on my face, which obviously isn’t optimal.

I’ve also had someone suggest using a SPF-infused toner/primer, though I’ll confess I’ve never really learned how to use makeup and have no idea what my ‘color’ is… and am also immuncompromised, so I can’t just drop into a store. I wouldn’t want to use anything that’d further irritate my skin or have any risk of worsening underlying conditions through my skin’s absorption of hormones or other endocrine-disrupting elements.

It looks like only the inactive ingredients made it into the Ulta description. If you look at the back of the box on Amazon, you’ll see that there are three active sunscreen ingredients.
