I have this Amazon Basics Nano Bluetooth Speaker. It’s $15 and waterproof. I just hook it around my shower head and it connects to my phone which is usually on my nightstand ~20 feet away and through a wall.

I didn’t like the cable or the warm head part. I use this which I just put between my two pillows. It can get loud enough so that my girlfriend can listen too, but if I lay with my ear directly on it, I hear it fine and she doesn’t even know it’s on. And it’s small enough to be comfortable & cheap enough that I won’t care when it breaks.

Not sure your price range or volume intentions but something like, https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Nano-Bluetooth-Speaker-Black/dp/B011W7HTSK could easily hang of the back of a vanity and is relatively low profile. The proximity between wall and mount surface may muffle the treble a bit but the bass should be good.
edit: that model is out of stock, but just as reference. You’ll likely need to buy a separate micro-usb to usb cable at whatever length fits your needs.

I use small ~$10 speakers similar to this for different things, either hardwired or over the air on battery or mains. The sound is better than any tablet and most notebooks.
