I’ve been trying to figure out cast iron for 6 months now and I’m giving up. Everytime I think I have a good season, I fry bagon, or make pancakes, or fry an egg, and it’s all gone. I also have black flakes coming up in my food. The process of seasoning is my 500sq feet apartment with one tiny window isn’t all that pleasant either. I’m well aware of the benefits of cast iron cooking, but it’s not for me at this point. I need something idiot proof.

edit: Since you also recommended SS, what about this set?

The same one is on Amazon? I don’t think it’s professional grade, but I’m also not going to be cooking gourmet meals daily. Just looking for something to make cooking more fun that’ll last a long time.
