I came across these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AIO8XVA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YqgpFbB0BXEZZ and wanna see your take. I forgot where I got recommended these but they look promising for cheaper. I don’t need fancy quality just something better than 40$ turtle beaches from Walmart which I had all my life lol

Thank you, ill take a look at them and see what I can afford. And thanks for the happy birthday.

Go for some high-quality over-ear headphones or some nice speakers. I find that tinny sound is awful no matter the volume as well. The bad signal from dopes who dont understand audio quality or how microphones work combined with laptop speakers is a recipe for shitty shit sound.

I use these but any headphones in this class will be fine:

Small but high quality speakers might be an even better option. But definitely get something nice to increase fidelity and you will have an easier time handling the sound load.

You should actually also look at AKG K92. They are the bigger brother of K72 and rated as some of the best headphones you can get under $70-80.

Check for some reviews between K52 v K72 v K92 on youtube.

I need some help figuring out the difference between 2.5 headphone options: AKG Pro K92 and Meze 99 Neo. I’m also looking at the AKG K240, which Amazon thinks is a newer version of the K92.

I’ve made a previous comment about what I’m looking for.

Essentially, I just need to know why I would opt for the recommended Meze 99 ($200) when the AKG K92 is 1/4th the price ($50). They both seem like quality headphones to me.

Hey people! I’m new to the headphone game and I’m trying to upgrade. I’ve been looking at these four, but I’m still not sure if these are my best bets:

Here are my specs below. Are any of these good bets, or is there a better one I’m not listing:

Budget – $80 USD or under, preferably around $50

Source – iTunes on iPhone, corded

Requirements for Isolation – I’d prefer a little but not super important

Will you be using these Headphones in Public?- Yes, at work mostly

Preferred Type of Headphone – On ear

Preferred tonal balance – Probably balanced, but I’m open to anything

Past headphones – Audio-Technica ATH-M30

Preferred Music – Very varied, I try a little of everything. Lately I’ve been into Elvis Costello’s Get Happy!! and the Hamilton soundtrack.

Improvement- I would like to upgrade a little bit, but not a ton. Very budget conscious. I’d like these to last at least a year or two.
