Thank you , pretty explanatory
I cannot do it in one , as I’m gonna set up various MIDI Controllers and also I want to “loadbalance” the CPU and RAM requirements, as I’m using quite a lot of Software. (Synths and effects) so I need to be able to dump to audio asap.

Yeah, you nailed it. I really like the zed model I linked in the original post, but it just falls short on the studio side of functionality. This one is what I’m settling on, but it’s not really gonna work for my ideas for live stuff.

I love your suggestion, though. That 10 channel model is more my size and price. Thanks!

I’m using this one. But this one is more affordable and just as capable (minus a few extra inputs)
