These are what I have. They’re very comfortable, and allow you to hear the road around you. They don’t cut out very much or for very long when they do.
·
bluetooth bone conduction headphones, so bunny won’t hear much and your own hearing won’t be obstructed? (i think aftershoks may be the most well-known brand for this, but there are lots of cheaper options.

Bone conduction headphone. You can set them anywhere pretty near your ear and you will hear it. AFTERSHOKZ Titanium Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DMDD776/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_8EYZE3KR34PC8MATARHQ

These are the headphones I use at work most of the time. They leave your ears open to hear your environment. If I need hearing protection I just throw in some disposable Earplugs and ta-da!

This is similar to the ones approved to at work. Basically they use a tech that uses the bones in your face as a sort of speaker that keeps your ears open. It’s definitely weird at first but you get used to it. There’s MP3 style but a cheaper blue tooth one one that most of us use on site.

I’m a little late to the party, but I work in power plants and other loud environments, and I use Aftershokz bone conduction headphones and earplugs. The headphones are really tough, don’t interfere with a hard hat, and the safety guy won’t bust your ass about not wearing rated earplugs. Also, they can get super loud, or you can adjust it so you can still hear other things around you. Battery life for me has averaged 2 days, and you can even make phone calls in loud places without too much trouble.

I use a pair of these when I go skating. https://www.amazon.com/Aftershokz-Trekz-Titanium-Pink-One/dp/B07DMDD776/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=Q7MD3H3AWRCG&dchild=1&keywords=aftershockz+headphones&qid=1596285498&sprefix=aftersho%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A1DR…
They’re great since I can still hear what’s going on around me and still be able to listen to my tunes.

Leaves the ear itself open, while allowing me to listen to music. It stays on the head during the rotation of my swing. I keep the volume low enough to hear people talking, but loud enough to drown out rustling leaves, footsteps, etc.

I have Treks Titanium by Aftershoks

Like these.
·
I listen to podcasts when cycling, but I use the Trekz Titanium which are bone conducting, so you can still hear everything going on around you.

Bone conductive hand bands. I won’t go back to anything in my ears anytime soon.

Just got these. Loving them so far. Wear them under the helmet, it pushes the vibrating bits a bit further from the ear. Can hear the music, and the cars near me, just fine.

Looking for bone conduction headphones (don’t want anything in or over my ears) with a good microphone. I’ve tried to two pairs from Amazon (links below) and both have had pretty poor microphones. Can anyone suggest anything?
