I have a pair of philips SHP9500’s for my guitar amp and they work great, but they’re not too convenient for being outdoors. These are lightweight and open ear, so I can hear more subtle sounds against noise.

Bummer dude now that you need a new set look at the aftershocks bone conductor headphones. It’s all I’ve used for the past 3 years. And it’s great for skating and longboarding because you can hear your surroundings still like cars and whatnot. Also they’ve never fallen off and I fall a lot with them on.

I wear AfterShokz while running and working out. They’re awesome.

Actually I am thinking about buying one of these: https://www.amazon.com/AfterShokz-Wireless-Conduction-Headphones-AS650MB/dp/B076FCWFPH

It’s quite popular among runners.

I decided to go with a different aprouch.
I will buy a bone conducting headset: https://www.amazon.com/AfterShokz-Wireless-Conduction-Headphones-AS650MB/dp/B076FCWFPH/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I can than “controll” the amount of “world” with the right (filtered) ear plugs (which I have expierience in). In my case I choose this: https://www.crescendo-hearingprotection.com/product/crescendo-office/

Other cheaper good filters are these: https://pluggerz.com/en/
