I’d recommend getting rid of the old school bodybuilder belt personally.
A good belt that should be the same thickness throughout the entire belt. If you want a pretty good quality belt that’s reasonably priced and will support you during heavy squat/deadlift sets I’d look into getting a Ader Leather Power Lifting Weight Belt.

Any thoughts on these two belts?
Ader Leather Power Lifting Weight Belt- 4" Red
ProFitness Genuine Leather Workout Belt (4 Inches Wide)
Alternatively, anyone have a better recommendation for belts under $50? I’m squatting less than 350 atm, and I’d prefer to be about 100lbs better than that before Inzer or whoever takes a bunch of my money.
Also, any thoughts on the cheapest straps that will get the job done? Keep grip-failing my DLs. Hoping to gear up, see all at once if that extends the LP I’ve been making, and then switch programs when it peters out.
