Ikea sleepers are the best. My current fave is the Friheten w/chaise. They quit making the Himmene so I went with that one. I have an Ikea sleeper (the coveted Himmene) in my home and guests give rave reviews (not paid guests, my family and friends hahah). Futons suck your soul and make you wonder if you’ve been beaten in your sleep.

For bedding I buy “on-sale” whatever, cotton Costo rejects, microfiber from Amazon and always bedspreads or light quilts because duvets covers are abusive to your cleaners (or yourself if you’re the cleaner).
