I bought these in June of 2013 according to my Amazon. I’m on the second one, and it works fantastically for my grinding. I too was not willing to shell out $600 for a custom night guard when I hear so many stories of people losing them. I probably have to replace this one soon as I’m wearing through it, but still…I paid $13 for them.

I don’t know of anything off hand, but didn’t mean it’s not out there. Anything to soft would likely sheer under a heavy blow (lol) which is what they are designed to prevent. I would look around on Amazon.
Another option to look into would be the splints people wear at night to keep from grinding their teeth.

Same but with Adderall. I use a mouth guard. Make a note of when you are clenching/grinding. I wear it when I’m reading because I notice myself clenching. It should stop eventually but if not just wear a mouth guard. Luckily I don’t need to speak to many people during the day so I can just wear it without anyone realizing. Sometimes I wear it on the subway if I’m reading for school.
